-is a vegetarian. no meat! (except maybe fish)
-He uses a staff that was crafted by his father. It was made out of very rare materials that were won through many trials. It it mechanical in nature and can fold in on itself and become much smaller and travel size. The blade has the ability to dispel magic that it cuts through.
-His armor used to have a cavea-sveltis on it. But after he discovered that the CS were destroying the world, he destroyed it in a pledge not to use them any more. His armor can no longer heal itself.
-in this time of hate between the krilaty and humans, Jayne tries to travel subtly. He isn't ashamed of his krilaty blood, nor does he hate humans. His helmet was designed to make his horns look like part of the armor and his pants cover his hoofed feet. He does this simply to avoid confrontation. If he is confronted, whether it be a human for his krilaty blood, or a krilaty for his human blood, he doesn't make a big deal out of it. He doesn’t fight where he doesn’t need to for his health.
-He has no wings. They were removed. He doesn’t talk about it.
- Although, the scars on his back healed very badly. any strong blow directly to either scar will cause immense pain, and will paralyze him for a time. (though due to some recent surgeries, the injuries aren't as bad as they were before)
-He sheds his antlers once a year and they take a month to grow back.
-He has a skill that was taught to him by the blind man he stayed with. if he closes his eyes, he can open his other senses and have a sort of 360 degree veiw of things around him. When he lost his eye, he utilized this ability to help him see out of his blind eye, but only for a short amount of time. 
-He is a smart man. a trait that came from his father is the ability to perceive things much faster than normal. Jayne doesn't know how to control this, but in very dire situations, he will begin to see everything in very slow motion, so he can make decisions and start acting before a normal person could.

Personality: Jayne is quiet. He doesn't speak unless he needs to, and when he does, his voice is fairly quiet. He is rather calm and stoic in most things, but underneath that stoic facade, he is very passionate. He is extremely kind, even though he seems icy and impersonal from the outside. he doesn't really get sarcasm and he can be really naive and awkward in social situations (especially with girls). He will always help someone in need. He works from his own code of morals. He lives by his own way and on his own path. Not to say that he’s always alone, or that he hates people. He values friendship and camaraderie more than anything, and will do anything to help a person. He is very stubborn, and once he’s made up his mind, another cannot change it.

Fighting style: Jayne is fast and that’s the biggest thing he’s got going for him. He has very little defenses, so he relies on dodging. He likes to use his powerful legs to jump extremely high and he does lots of flips and stuff. he spins his staff around and uses the momentum to carry through each attack. his combinations are deadly, however, jayne does not kill people, so he will only use the blunt edge (exception for monsters). he also has a very powerful kick

Background: Jayne was born in Rheas, but he spent all his time in the cold forests. He has never met his human father, for the man only stayed with his mother for a short time. however, the stories she tells of him were fond ones. He lived quietly with his mother and the other full krilaty that stuck together. When the cavea-sveltis started to become a problem, the leader of their little group of kirlaty decided to move away from the town and form their own little town in the forest. He found a group of good friends and grew up in relative peace. But when his friends got old enough to hate, they started to hate the humans, and the cavea-sveltis. They began to travel out of the village to humans and cause problems. As the boys got older, the problems they caused escalated, even to the point that the authorities were after them. Jayne followed his friends without question. When he was 15, there was an important mission the boys went on. The most dangerous and rewarding yet, but in the middle of it, Jayne screwed up. He was given some orders, some that he knew were bad and wouldn’t end well, for the humans, or for his group, but he followed anyway. His friend that gave the orders died, the job failed and his friends turned their hate to Jayne. In a fit of rage, they took his wings and exiled him from the little forest village, saying that if he ever returned, they would kill him, and his mother. (who they told that jayne had died in the job) alone and very wounded, Jayne wandered through the snow. He would have died if a young girl hadn’t found him and healed him. She was running away by her own choice, and it got jayne thinking. He was in this situation because he had followed someone else’s orders against what he knew was wrong. People had died because of his weakness, and now he was alone. He made a vow that day that he would never let another decide his actions. Not that he would never take advice or new information, but he would always make sure that his actions were his own. 
it took years to get back to full health. he was found by a blind man, Hian, and was cared for. but after that, jayne decided to seek out his father. He knew nothing about the man, but apparently the man knew about jayne. He went to the place where his father was last seen in this continent, but he wasn’t there, however, something else was. His father had left long ago, but through his information network, knew that jayne was looking for him. He sent a package to his last location specifically for his son. He was an inventor and a scientist, and a good one at that. The present was custom made armor and helmet. The armor has a cavea-sveltis in it, but it’s only purpose is to mend the armor when it’s damaged. With this, jayne decided that he not only needed to make his own decisions, but also be wise enough to make the right ones. For this, he needed to see everything. So after training his skills with the blind man, he left to travel the world and see it for himself.

he has gone on many adventures, especially after he joined a party with Coden and Alexis, and then later, Dez.
He has recently returned to his village and made right the wrongs that were done to him. He reunited with his mother and opened the village up to trade with other cities.

The law has caught up with his wanted cohorts, Coden and Bahadur, and in his actions to protect them, Jayne got a bounty on his head. Wanted posters are just starting to appear.

Jayne has an ability from his father where, when his life is in danger, he can perceive events twice as fast than normal for a very short amount of time (1-5 seconds). This mystic arte actually allows his body to keep up with his perceived time with the use of his wind essence to propel his body faster than would normally be possible. From Jayne's perspective, events are moving twice as slow as they normally do, and he's moving normally, but from anyone else's perspective, Jayne is moving impossibly fast. He can choose to run or fight in this situation. This state lasts 10 seconds. He can also use his wind essence to change direction in mid air, or turn on a time, so the attacks are more effective. Doing this drains him even worse, however, and if he does that, then the Arte only lasts 5 seconds.
